I was about to write a long entry on the debate prelims but nyeh, maybe next time. It's rather late already.

Zieyah showed me this video quite some time ago, but I was so sleepy I didn't even get the joke. And now, almost a month later, I'm finally laughing at it hahaha.

Note: This is going to be one helluva random post.

The spherical object to my right says that its 30 minutes past midnight and I'm tied to a chair. My fingers can barely move thanks to the arctic-like conditions. The room's pitch black and to add to the eerie surroundings, Eric Clapton's 'Tears in Heaven' is playing in the background. My only hope of survival lies on the rectangular beam of light that I'm currently staring at...and I think it's called a monitor.

But seriously, I think it truly is my saviour for tonight haha. I can't sleep..I just can't. I think it's just my brain finally accepting the fact that coffee is indeed destined to keep us humans up all night. Sigh everyone else is asleep...except for Nadzri. But again, he's on MSN so the fact remains that my monitor/pc is indeed my saviour for tonight, the knight for to-knight hahaha ok lame. Hey, I warned you so don't complain. Prior to typing 'www.blogger.com' on my opera browser, I had a thousand and one things in mind. Okay, I'll cut down on the exaggeration. I had a hundred and one things in mind. I just..I just lost my train of thought:/. Fine, I'll stop lying. Just like every other second of a day, I have n-o-t-h-i-n-g in my mind.

Man..this is definitely social suicide. Whatever, anything to make me fall asleep would do. Curses on me for having a lazy Sunday (but I needed it okay).

Astrologically, anything that lies on the +08:00 GMT is already in a new week. So, let me say hi to the Monday Blues..NOT. I'm due to have only an hour worth of lessons later ha-ha-HA! And tuition for today is called off (this time, it wasn't my call). But my first exam paper is in a little more than a fortnight away and the debate nationals semi-finals is tomorrow. So...hi Monday Blues.

Don't you think it's funnyyyyyy that,

Everytime you ask a 7 year old kid the million dollar question of 'what do you want to be when you grow up/what's your ambition?' they always, I repeat, they always, I repeat again, always have a bloody firm answer. But when you ask a teenager or anyone that's on the verge of going to university, they just can't answer that (I'm guilty of this too okay). Most of them will answer with an 'I dunno'. Okay okay for the sake of maintaining justice, some of them do give an answer but there's always that hint of hesitation in their voices. Obviously I was once a 7 year old myself. The frequent answers that my friends and I would usually come up with are like the universal ones, you know, like teachers, pilots and doctors. The more complicated ones wanted to be a...lawyer. But hey, my first ambition was to be a doctor. But once hair started to spurt out of my armpits, I decided that my favourite colour was not red. I also fell in love with... travelling and all of a sudden, a pilot took the front seat of my mind. Having an uncle who flies, I've listened to most of his twist and tales. But I just can't picture myself as a married man and being constantly away from my family. Plus, I'm quite fidgety. I just cannot stand being stationary for more than a few minutes.



It's high time for me to make up my mind though. Being an A-level student, I've ruled out most of the cards from the deck through my subject selection and left out a few cards lying face down on the table. Let's just hope that once I flip that chosen card of mine, it'll be a good one :)

Aite I'm a tad sleepy now. Haha I guess I could use this blog as an alternative to my old method..you know, counting sheeps?

27th March

I'm 18 and I'm already starting to feel really old.

Maybe it's the freedom and sense of responsibility that I've gained ever since I got my driving license, maybe it's the prospect of entering uni soon while seeing more and more of my friends enter uni...or maybe it's just the ever-increasing beard-growing region on my chin. Ah well..so if I made anyone older than I am feel old, I'm sorry, but you'll forever be older than I am 0=)

Sorry, twas just a random thought haha. Moving on...

My holidays have been a breeze. But I've yet to have a, what I call a 'lazy day' at home. You know, one of those days where you stay in bed till noon and have a 3 pm lunch followed by a movie marathon that's accompanied by some snacks and a handful of fizzy drinks. I don't think I can even afford a day like that anymore. And yet another reason for me to feel old!

But hey I'm not complaining. It's been a decent, laid-back holiday anyway. A few schoolworks here and there, hours in the gym, a couple of debate meetings, some outings with my girl, one or two wacky moments with my buds, a lil dose of golf and some good family time, all comfortably tailored to fit in within the last 7 days!

Ok I'll stop yapping and move on to something which involves some pictures. Dad and I have been bringing my cousin Hazim to the mini par-3 golf course to get him started. It certainly doesn't hurt that he has a knack of taking pictures and damn he takes awesome pictures, considering his only weapon is a conventional sony digital camera.

I also had a family gathering a few nights ago. Ngah Hj Talip wanted to celebrate his retirement and his children's excellent grades in recent exams. Twas a rather large gathering, well sadang. Lots arent here currently but it's definitely the largest gathering ever since my cousin's wedding mid last year. Had a few good laughs (big ones too) so it was all good (Y).

Bah thats it for now..expect more updates pretty soon though! :D

Finally, holidays!


The last term was quite an eventful one. Twas hectic but full of fun moments! While some are goin overseas for their holidays, I reckon I could use this 10-day break to catch up with my studies, get set for the upcoming exams at the same time recharge me batteries :)

My fellow earthlings,

This week has been pretty routine for me, well after you minus the fact that my dad's wallet got stolen by a monkey in the golf course (HAHAHA). He got it back though after his friend through a huge chunk of wood at it, otherwise I wouldnt dare to laugh about it lol. Oh and I bumped into Kevin yesterday after not seeing for him almost a year. And he's fat now (at least by his standards lol). But, sigh it's quite surreal to see how 365 days can change a lot of things :/ I miss my ex-classmates! 


I have two more tests next week, the year's last tests! I can't wait to get over them and finally click on the cruise control button. Fine, actually I'm already in cruise control mode, except that it keeps switching on and off haha.



Aint you guys excited that the holidays are coming?
Doh of course you guys are. Oh and Amali and I are planning to join the HSBC Young Entrepeneur thingy, you know we might as well make good use of the holidays. Lagipun, the deadline batah lagi so yeah haha. It won't be easy (spelling the word 'entrepreneur' is hard enough) and itll be a long shot but whatever =p.

Dad told me that he went to watch my Ngah Yassin hang glide somewhere in Tutong this afternoon and that really re-ignited my interest to try it! My uncle keeps bragging about the serene blue skies and the beautiful view down below that he gets to see from up there. I haven't asked my dad nor uncle yet pulang but I'm sure my dad will get all sakai too, mau mau tia kan cuba jua haha. I have this knack for thrill rides and extreme sports (Y). I think I'm gona die young =p

High 1

Ok...



I'm officially high now, in a retarded way. You obviously can't really tell through these words but this sense of hyperness is stopping me from studying tonight. The only good thing is, this will  keep me awake (and concentrated) deep into the night. I likeeee last minute studying *gives retarded face* 

Maybe its the coffee, maybe its the 13-hour sleep I had yesterday. Maybe it's the Russell Peters and Mr. Bean clips I've been viewing through youtube recently. But nehhh it's the coffee hehehehe. Wait, I think its due to all this studying for the exams. Yep dazzz right!

Bah eh, I've taken over half an hour to write this entry thanks to some Russell Peter clips in between. I shall go study now (after I try that 3-in-1 coffee sachet that I saw in the pantry this afternoon so I hope it doesn't contain any traces of melamine he-he-he hahahahhahahahahahha)

Exams

First of all, I wanna apologise to those who's open houses I wasn't able to attend. Especially to Fatin, dua kali sudah kau open house but I still wasn't able to make it, sigh sorry :/ I miss your mom's mee basah! Nantitah ah, I might pop in for a casual raya visit. I had too little time for too many open houses. Plus, I can't really go flat out on raya-ing this year since my AS levels are fast approaching ya know =)

But oiii I'm not trying to shoo away the Raya spirit or anything haha. There are quite a number of open houses this weekend too given that its a long weekend (saturday's a public holiday, baru ku tau tadi hahaha). I'm not good with numbers but I think I have more open houses invites this week compared to last week. Anyways, kalau kan beraya to my place just inform me in advance alright. It's rather easy to navigate your way to my house. You see, my house is supposed to be 'No.250', without a simpang number, simply because we don't have a junction (simpang) leading to our house cos its literally next to the main road. A few months ago, a signboard saying 'Simpang250' was erected right beside our main gate. JKR sure has a sense of humour....So how is it going to be? Picture me calling Pizza Hut for a delivery:

Pizza Hut: 'Pizza Hut Delivery, your address sir?'

Me: 'Simpang 250, Kg. blabla Jalan yadayadayada'

Pizza Hut: 'Simpang 250, no. brapa sir?'

Me: 'No number'

Pizza Hut: 'Sir, we need your house number'

Me: 'Nadaaaaaaaa they took it away from us'

Sigh, giving people directions to my house has never been easy. Its quite ironic since my house is located just beside the main road haha.

Long Time Overdue

Im really sorie for this late blog haha realy apologize for it. i noe i sed was gona do it a few weeks back but yea been busy. REALLY BUSY lol anyway here it goes

The time in brunei was amazing. Honestly at first i kinda felt un happy and stuf. i couldnt meet up with my friends much coz kamu slalu busy hahaha so yea was pretty boring. but when it kicked off it got better. i thank you all for entertaining me. i might have been quite a burden butyea i htank u all sooo much. after it kicked off i then remmembered why i missed brunei sooooo fucking much. its u guys tht i missed alot. special thanks to WANA ISMADI for setting things up alot. im sorie for the trouble but i hope ud do it again hahaha suf thanks u too. the beach party was amazing and so was the bouncer party hahaha fun as shit. which is a good thing btw haha u guys made my summer amazing. not getting to see u guys alot has it bad times but it makes me appreciate the time we spend together soooo much more. its jst amazing how u guys could tolerate a bum like me and its very touching hahaha thanks to all of you for making my time in brunei simply outstanding. and also special thanks to those who came to the airport sending me off and also to those who even thot about coming and not being able to go. even if it was only a thot i still apreciate it hahaha it must have been difficult for u guys to come to the airport during a school day and stuff and me being late also kinda messes it up abit lol but yea thanks alot emah wana dayah qawiy and last but not least one of my fucking bestestest bros anak si kassim si hanis lol apreciate it alot guys. ima be back on the 24th only for a week though so i dun want u guys to stress too much though i wont let u guys be busy coz i wana see u guys hahaha if u guys have been readin till now i jst wana say thanks again and i miss u all alot. people here dun see wats so fun about brunei (not bein able to drink/club and shit like tht, not tht i drink btw) but the reason of tht is tht they dun have frens like u guys to celebrate ur presence u noe hahaha so yea the thing tht makes brunei most special is family and friends tht i have there. families amazing and i miss them alot. i fight alot with most of them specially my sisters but then living alone i have to admit i miss them alot. never ask to live alone ur gona miss ur family alot and also doing laundry/dishes/cooking/cleaning all sucks like hell. my house is kinda dirty 5 days of the week but i clean it during weekends or before people might come. not includin close frens hahahaha never wrote this much before 500 words i think daym wish i could write this much for hw and shit lol but yea i only work hard for things that matter to me hahaha owh yea i also wana say hai to two people iv jst got aquainted with haha who im pretty sure is a regular reader of sufs blogs hahaha zy and fatin was cool to get to noe u guys hahaha alll in all all u guys are amazing and thank you so much for making my summer full of great memories and a wonderful experience so thank you guys i noe iv sed it alot but i jst cant say it enuf to emphasize it so yea thank you so much. take care all see u soon thanks again =)

1.  I tend to squint a lot, especially when the sun's rays are quite strong.

Kuala Belait

This has been a long week so far, for me.


Afiq wanted me to teach him golf in the mini par-3 golf course in Jerudong yesterday, so as soon I got home from school, I just changed my shirt and shoes, took my golf bag and then off I went. Had a really pleasant game, thanks to the cool and breezy weather. Gave him a few tips here and there (I told you its way harder than it looks haha, but you doin well man). But yeah I'm impressed with his determination. Apart from hitting a car or two in the parking lot and digging up a kilo worth of earth, he did ok =p


Ive tuition in 40 minutes and I haven't even taken my shower so I better make this post short yeah.


Tomorrow morning will be occupied with golf with my dad's friends, so I've to bring my wallet since they'll most probably be playing for money again haha. And in the afternoon is the 'nikah' ceremony of another of my first cousin. And I'm skipping classes on saturday, due to some chess tournament thingy in PAP Masna. The last time I've really concentrated on a chess game was during the interschool chess tournament, which was a month ago! Im so dead.


Bah until then. Ehhhh wait..you wondering why's the title 'Kuala Belait'? haha listen to this then =)

I was browsing through Fatin-tun's laptop yesterday and she made me listen to a song with a corny title, 'Gabe Bondoc - My Life My Love My Everything'. But damn Ive been addicted to the song ever since. Ive stuck it up here =) If you listen properly, the lyrics are awesome.

Midweek madness

I shouldnt really be blogging right now since I have a Math test tomorrow as well as a lil bit of homework due for tomorrow but since Nadzri is too lazy *cough* busy to blog that often nowadays I kinda feel obligated to post something up here more often =D haha.


Since I'm getting 'older' and my schedule is as tight as it is right now, I think by blogging more often is a neat way for me to recall back the simple everyday stuffs that I encounter every now and then. Never hurts to reminisce at times right ;)


BUT no I dont think Im gna blog everyday, maybe once every few days maybe? =) Cos in my personal opinion, its more interesting when you gather the highlights of the past several days of your life and put it in a single post rather than tell the details of your everyday life. You know, 'highlights' like how I fell beside the longkang in front of the library yesterday=p


Okay, maybe Im just too lazy to blog everyday.

ANYWAY

There's about a dozen new students in MD and one of them is a good friend of mine, Arun(aldinho) lol. Nice to have ya in one of my classes bro =)


I don't think anything that interesting happened today, ahhhhhh i cant even recall anything much that happened today! I told ya im getting older. I had classes as usual, and then choir practice. Never a dull moment during the choir practice sessions, they're all so friendly and funny man! haha. Let me see errr, oh yeah the Econs test this morning was...talur haha. I mean, its got nothing to do with the questions or anything. Blame the teacher, she went to her staffroom to get something sorted out and left us unattended for the last 15 mins of the test!


OHHH and haha I just had a haircut a few hours ago. Anyways yeah went to centrepoint to get my haircut cos Fahrul, my cousin from my mom's side, is getting engaged on Friday. And its going to be quite a big event soo...dont wana look like Tarzan on that day =) My sister is the only Muslim girl on my mom's side so she has the privilege of being the...watchu call those people who carries the 'gifts'? haha.
