It's almost November again!

Sorry for the lack of updates (berapa kali sudah ku cakap ni) haha but I've got a life =p I'm kidding, I'm not gona ditch this blog anytime soon haha. I'm in the midst of my AS Level exams, so yeah.

By the way, Nadzri's back for a week to take his Malay O Level paper to have a shot for a scholarship since he took his IGCSE in Taiwan and is currently doing his IB there. Sleptover at his place on Saturday night together with Amali, had a blast! It was kinda cute to see how worried was his mom regarding his malay. Haha it'll be a piece of cake for u mannnn. I'll blog more about that later, hopefully, if I have the time lol.

For the first time in 7-8 years, I'll be spending my December in Brunei haha. But I think November and December should be pretty occupied with activities like umm. Haha I'm turning 18 late next month (guys, I like surprises ah=p), so I'm gona be applying for a driver's license. The cultural night performance, oratory competition, BGIC preparations and other activities should hinder myself from being a couch potato. Plus, I'm considering a part-time job after my Dad recommended some to me (I'm not gona tell where haha).

And I can't wait to catch up with those ex-classmates and friends who are coming back for holidays this December. Even those who are still here locally but in different schools, damn, we should have a reunion guys. I miss you guys and last year a lot :/

Exams

First of all, I wanna apologise to those who's open houses I wasn't able to attend. Especially to Fatin, dua kali sudah kau open house but I still wasn't able to make it, sigh sorry :/ I miss your mom's mee basah! Nantitah ah, I might pop in for a casual raya visit. I had too little time for too many open houses. Plus, I can't really go flat out on raya-ing this year since my AS levels are fast approaching ya know =)

But oiii I'm not trying to shoo away the Raya spirit or anything haha. There are quite a number of open houses this weekend too given that its a long weekend (saturday's a public holiday, baru ku tau tadi hahaha). I'm not good with numbers but I think I have more open houses invites this week compared to last week. Anyways, kalau kan beraya to my place just inform me in advance alright. It's rather easy to navigate your way to my house. You see, my house is supposed to be 'No.250', without a simpang number, simply because we don't have a junction (simpang) leading to our house cos its literally next to the main road. A few months ago, a signboard saying 'Simpang250' was erected right beside our main gate. JKR sure has a sense of humour....So how is it going to be? Picture me calling Pizza Hut for a delivery:

Pizza Hut: 'Pizza Hut Delivery, your address sir?'

Me: 'Simpang 250, Kg. blabla Jalan yadayadayada'

Pizza Hut: 'Simpang 250, no. brapa sir?'

Me: 'No number'

Pizza Hut: 'Sir, we need your house number'

Me: 'Nadaaaaaaaa they took it away from us'

Sigh, giving people directions to my house has never been easy. Its quite ironic since my house is located just beside the main road haha.

We have 15 mins left before we enter the Audi for the exam and this is what we do....so if I get an 'A' for thinking skills I should apply this pre-exam meditation method for all my subjects.

When boredom strikes

Yes yes I've changed the template. Haha I thought it was time for a change and hey, I think the colours are easier on the eyes. It gives a whole new more 'open' feel to the page.


I've one more paper left, one LAST one for my exams, which is the Thinking Skills 2 paper. And it's four days away! I feel so empty now. You know, its that feeling when you're faced with a long holiday and you do not have any major plans whatsoever haha. But hey, it's nice to finally have ample time for myself.


Sorry for the short post, I think I'm heading off for another afternoon nap now. A bullet point on my now almost empty to-do list, to 'regulate my sleeping hours' haha.

Happy Ramadhan

First of all, Selamat Berpuasa to all the Muslims out there. Jangan skip puasa ah? haha. I can't believe its puasa again. I mean it in a good way though. Sahur, Sungkai, Terawih, the cravings and the fireworks. Ahh i miss that!


And I bid farewell to Nadzri! He's goin back to Taiwan for his last year there. Sorry I couldn't make it to the airport on time man. Anyways, you take care over there and goodluck in everything. And before I forget, you MUST blog too u nitwit! haha.


I'll try to make a post on yesterday's wedding once I can find where the camera is. It was tiring, but awesome!

Congrats to...

First of all, I wanna congratulate those who did well in their O-level or AS-level exams! =D


To those who did not achieve their goals, its n-o-t the end of the world guys so let this lesson ignite your determination to try harder next time (esehman) haha. But okay on a more serious note, don't be too hard on yourselves.


Speaking of exams, my end of year exams are within a fortnight and how's my revision progressing? Well I don't think we can ever be 'ready' enough for an exam right? Just to protect myself from complacency =) and no I'm not saying I'm satisfied with how revision's going so far haha.


Ahh...I still think there's a better way than to leave our future to be decided by a few sheets of paper a.k.a exam papers =\


Me, Fatin and Arun went to the UK exhibition thingy in Rizqun after our classes. Damn it was really crowded. I bumped into countless familiar faces, some of whom I can't really recall their names or even how they are related to me. Sorry guys! At least I smiled back haha.

I was in the middle of squeezing my way through the crowd when an excruciatingly-familiar looking lady walked towards my direction.

Lady (a mother with her daughter): *smiles* tarus dari sekolah kah ni?

Me: Awu...

Lady: Bisai jua ah. bah ok ah..*smiles from her and her daughter*

Me: Ok...

Then I continued walking a few steps and turned around to Fatin.

Me: TIN! She looks awfully familiar. I think she's my mom's colleague. I know Ive seen her somewhere. Wait I think Ive seen her around during family functions or stuffs!


Basically those kind of thoughts went through my mind for half of the afternoon haha.
